Statement from David Jones

“In my twenty-five years working in business, either as a commercial lender, as a Chief Financial Officer, or as a consultant, I have discovered at least three common afflictions that have a fundamental impact on the health and sustainability of any business. Furthermore, I’m convinced that, at Capital Knowledge Group, we’ve developed a solution for each.”

Problem #1 - Business owners and the professionals who serve them don’t understand how commercial bank lenders must operate – leading not only to poorly conceived and unfulfilled loan requests, but also to failed banking relationships.

Solution #1 - Attend our seminar “How to Get (and Keep) a Commercial Banking Relationship – A One-Day, Inside Look at How Banks and Bankers Make Commercial Loan Decisions.”

Problem #2 - Company owners and managers focus on minimizing reported income and its resulting income tax liability, rather than on building a robust capital structure that can withstand inevitable economic shocks and sustain future company growth.

Solution#2 - Use our consulting services on financial management and capital structure, where we use the same financial analysis software that over 400 banks across the country use, to help you position your company financially for safety and growth.

Problem #3 - Owners and managers don’t know how to handle the often agonizing transition when a controller or CFO is first brought on board at a growing business.

Solution #3 - Retain us for an interim, part-time CFO to smooth the transition, structure the new accounting department for growth, and assist management in the hiring of a permanent CFO or controller to take over at the end of the transition period.
